The Political Body
Contemporary Dance
Masterclass*

Creativity, the power of a meaningful vocabulary and responsibility as an artist form the basis of this masterclass, which is based on the piece C la vie. The body is always seen politically in the company's creations. Known for his energetic works that shed light on socio-political issues, Belgian-Burkinese choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly returns to the Festspielhaus after Wakatt (2022/2023) with a celebration of life that is as adventurous as it is critical. (Performance on Saturday, February 15, 2025)

Together with music
Improvisation/Movement/Collective
Open workshop°

How does music move us? In a joint listening session we will find out what music triggers in us and which individual, improvised movements it leads us to, and then we will move on to a collective communication with the music and with each other. Personal expression is combined with the collective experience of groove, rhythm and melody.
