Description
“Where better can we play than in the forest?“ two children think. But one day they meet a third child, who is not alone: soldiers appear, bringing a dangerous “drum“ with them: a tank! Will the children let themselves be chased out of the forest by the intruders? No! The three of them stick together and use the powers of imagination and dance to defend themselves. Freely adapted from Lisa Aigelsperger’s book and devised together with children and young people, this magical piece of participatory dance theatre gives a voice to young people who speak out against war and conflict in favour of reconciliation, solidarity and friendship. A plea for the power of the imagination that could hardly be more topical, says director Christine Maria Krenn: “We prioritise what we have in common above what divides us and present magical spaces in the shape of music, dance and an adaptable drum that opens the door to a peaceful world!“
