Neujahrskonzert

When a year comes to an end and a new one begins, few things offer as much cause for joy and celebration as music. The New Year's concerts at the Festspielhaus St. Pölten invite you to celebrate this special transition in a festive setting – a sparkling mix of lively sounds from the Strauss dynasty mingle with other light-footed instrumental pieces from opera, operetta and other areas of entertaining orchestral music. Under the charming direction of Alfred Eschwé, the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich sets off musical fireworks and enchants the audience with lively rhythms and enchanting melodies. With Christoph Wagner-Trenkwitz as emcee, who leads through the evening with his cheerful presentation, the turn of the year becomes a real experience. Kathrin Zukowski will perform as a soloist. Celebrate the transition into the new year with us!

There will be a transmission of the concert on Radio Niederösterreich at 20:00 that same evening.
